We’re excited to share with you the groundbreaking research study performed by VoltDB co-founder, Michael Stonebraker, OLTP Through the Looking Glass, and What We Found There. This study, conducted by Stonebraker and other industry luminaries, explores some of the earliest research into how OLTP systems could be deconstructed to enhance the overall performance of the database itself.

These findings became the foundation for VoltDB’s in-memory database technology.
