VoltDB is for application developers who want much better DBMS performance and scalability--without having to give up SQL or transactional integrity, and without the complexity of sharding or the cost of expensive DBMS license and hardware upgrade fees.

Here is what we ask of Early Release Program members:
  • You have an OLTP application that is limited by DBMS performance or scalability
  • You have 64-bit Linux hardware on which to run VoltDB--on premise or in the cloud
  • You will actively use VoltDB and provide us with product feedback
